Promoter Terms

Version 1.0-draft · effective 9/9/2026

Caution

DRAFT — NOT YET REVIEWED BY A LAWYER. This describes an independent contractor arrangement; a lawyer should confirm it is structured correctly before anyone is paid under it.

These are the terms for anyone selling tickets or bringing guests to Electron India events on a referral code.

WHAT YOU ARE You are an independent contractor, not an employee. You choose your own hours, your own methods and your own contacts. You are responsible for your own taxes on what we pay you. Nothing here makes you a partner, agent or employee of Electron India LLC, and you cannot enter into anything on our behalf.

YOUR CODE You get a personal referral code and link. Sales made through it are attributed to you automatically. Do not share your code with another promoter, and do not use another promoter's code.

WHAT YOU EARN Your commission rate and how it is calculated are set in your promoter record and visible in your portal. You are paid on tickets actually sold through your code and paid for — not on holds, not on cancelled orders, and not on refunded tickets. If an order is refunded after you have been paid, that amount comes off your next payout.

Payment is made after the event, once the door is reconciled. Your portal shows what is owed and what has been paid.

GUEST LIST You have a guest list allowance per event, shown in your portal. Guests are for genuine guests — press, artists' friends, people who bring a room to life — not for selling. Selling a guest list spot ends the arrangement immediately.

WHAT YOU CAN SAY Promote the event as it is actually announced: the confirmed line-up, the real venue, the real times, the real price. Do not promise anyone entry, a table, a meet-and-greet, an after-party or anything else we have not agreed in writing. Do not announce a line-up before we do. Do not say a show is sold out when it is not, or almost sold out when it is not.

Never advertise our tickets above face value, and never on a resale marketplace.

WHAT YOU SEE Your portal shows your own numbers — tickets sold on your code, what you are owed, how many of your buyers turned up, and your own guest list. You do not see buyers' names, emails or phone numbers, other promoters' numbers, or overall event figures. That is deliberate: the people who buy through you are our customers and their details stay with us.

CONDUCT The Code of Conduct applies to you at every event, at work or not. Promoters are the face of the brand at the door and on the floor.

ENDING IT Either of us can end this at any time with notice. If we end it, you are still paid what you have already earned. We may end it immediately, without payment for anything in dispute, for selling guest list spots, misrepresenting an event, touting tickets, or a serious breach of the Code of Conduct.

LAW New York law governs these terms.
