Code of Conduct

This applies to everyone at an Electron India event: guests, artists, staff, promoters and anyone working the night.

WHAT WE EXPECT Look after each other. Ask before you touch anyone. Take no for an answer the first time. Nobody at our events owes you their attention, their number or their space.

WHAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT Harassment of any kind — sexual, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist or otherwise. Unwanted touching. Following someone around a room. Filming or photographing someone who has said no. Aggression towards staff, security or bar. Anything that makes another person feel unsafe.

We do not care who you are, who you know, or whether you are on the guest list. It applies to headline artists exactly as it applies to everyone else.

WHAT HAPPENS If you are on the receiving end of any of this, tell any member of our staff or the venue's security. You will be believed, taken somewhere quieter, and asked what you want to happen — not interrogated. If you want the night to continue without a fuss, that is a valid answer.

If you do any of this, you will be removed. There is no refund, and depending on what happened we may refuse you entry to future events. Serious incidents go to the venue and, where appropriate, to the police.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL Venue rules and the law apply. We would rather you got home safe than pretended nothing was happening, so if you or someone with you is in trouble, tell staff. Getting help for someone will not get you thrown out.

PHOTOGRAPHY We film and photograph our events. If you do not want to be in it, tell the person holding the camera and they will move on. Guests filming other guests without consent is covered above.

ACCESSIBILITY Venues vary and some of the rooms we use are old buildings. Contact us before an event and we will tell you honestly what the access is like — step-free entry, accessible toilets, seating, quiet space — rather than guessing.

TELLING US SOMETHING AFTERWARDS You can report something after the night. Email us. We will take it seriously whether or not you want to be named, and we will tell you what we did about it.
